BLACK SUIT ARMORY
About Us:
Our Manufacturing Process
We utilize Bambu Labs' 3D Printers namely the P1 Series along with engineering grade filament such as PA-GF (Glass filled Nylon) and PA-CF (Carbon fiber filled Nylon). These engineering grade materials are extremely hygroscopic meaning they absorb water directly from the atmosphere very quickly and therefore quickly become unusable without a proper drying method along with a sufficiently low moisture level in the environment, this is but a small price to pay to enable the manufacture of lower receivers that can withstand thousands of rounds. Our work does not end there however, post processing is required for these materials as once the end product is made we still need to rehydrate the material we previously dried as now those water molecules will reinforce the model adding crucial heat tolerance that enables it to withstand sustained heat such as in the case of repeated range use. We do not manufacture with PLA+/PRO due to it being less resistant to heat. We are monitoring developments in this area in search of improvement.

Our Story
No Compromises
The emergence of additive manufacturing as a cornerstone of our second amendment right to manufacture and bear arms has brought about an age of renaissance where we as citizens can exercise our right from the comfort of our home whether it be through 80% injection molded frames, or 3D Printed lowers. Our story is tied directly to all homemade manufacturing processes, we are communities with the same goal of exercising true freedom via our unalienable rights. That being said our business offers two services: A self hosted file publishing service for aspiring designers of 3D2A designs. The second service being our 80% printed lower receivers.
Unlike DEFCAD, a rival file hosting site who collects vast amounts of user data including social security numbers and shares it with government agencies, we at BSA value our customers privacy above all else given the sensitive nature of our business therefore the only information we collect on our customers would be that used to facilitate purchases. We also differ from them in the methods we use to host creators designs, Where they simply rip them and post them as their own on DEFCAD we request the use of all our posted files here, and if the creator ever chooses to have their files removed all they need to do is contact us.
Transparency is key in gaining trust for our consumer base, we understand those who are doubtful of quality and thus we provide our exact printing settings used in the description of every listing. Additionally we can guarantee the following:

-
Filament has been thoroughly dried before and during printing.
-
Printing occurs inside a controlled enclosure resistant to moisture that may adversely affect your product.
-
Printing speed is always set to the silent preset (allows for better layer adhesion)
-
Specific print settings are always shown on product listing.
-
Infill is defaulted to 100%. (This means you will have the strongest possible product)
-
We inspect every item before shipment for quality and defects.
-
Supports are removed.
-
Tight areas such as the slide lock spring for Gen 3 lowers may sometimes fill with material either due to support or overlapping material falling inside- we specifically ensure this area is clear and test it by installing a spring before every shipment is sent out to the customer.
